Transferring VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Video 8, Hi8, Digital 8, or miniDV tapes takes the same amount of time as the original recording on the cassette. For example, a typical VHS cassette contains approximately 180 minutes of recording time. The time needed to transfer it to an MPEG-4 / MP4 file or an old DVD is also 180 minutes. Unfortunately, this process cannot be sped up. However, since we have multiple workstations for digitizing archival video materials (films), the turnaround time doesn’t increase significantly even with a larger number of tapes. Most orders are completed within a day, and sometimes even on the same day. We work swiftly! 🎞️📼
